Join us at the library for adult coloring as we gather around to enjoy coffee, quiet conversation, and a relaxing afternoon of coloring. Supplies will be provided, but you are also more than welcome to bring your favorite coloring supplies.

Stay cool for the summer by customizing your very own trucker hat! You will have the choice of tye-dying, bedazzling, and applying patches to customize your trucker hat to your unique style. Open to all middle and high school students.

Calling all the teens who love theater and reading! Ages 12-18 are welcome to participate in Readers Theatre at the Harrisburg District Library. Auditions will be on June 11th, with practice being every Thursday in June and July on the Lawn at the Library. Auditions will be in a group setting and there will be no solo reading, so no need to come with anything prepared as everything will be provided. Every child will receive a part. Our scripts will come from Stories on Stage by Aaron Shepard and will be suitable for all ages. Readers Theater is designed for children to have their script in their hands while performing, so no memorization will be needed! We will be performing on July 30th at the Township Park with more details to come.

Their story explores the last survivors of an embattled knight's order set out to discover the source of a growing evil and put it to rest before its power destroys the world! Come learn about this campaign and the places it will take you while developing characters that align with the story! Here is your chance to make mini figurines, character sheets, and friendships along the way. Spots are limited and will be capped at 10.

Teens ages 13-18 are more than welcome to join this Session Zero with Dungeon Master Kaitlyn. This campaign will be another homebrew mix of fun and magic! Come learn about this campaign and the places it will take you while developing characters that align with the story! Here is your chance to make mini figurines, character sheets, and friendships along the way. Spots are limited and will be capped at 15.

Adults 18 and up are more than welcome to join this Session Zero with Dungeon Master Jeff. Jeff will be leading you through the story of Lost Mines of Phandelver where you will be focused on finding the lost mine as part of a mining expedition crew. This campaign will be featuring gold and jewels as replacements for standard gold pieces, and mini games for finding treasure. Come learn about this campaign and the places it will take you while developing characters that align with the story! Here is your chance to make mini figurines, character sheets, and friendships along the way. Spots are limited and will be capped at 10.

As part of our “Library Rewind” we will be having Throwback Trivia! Test your knowledge of the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 00s. Bring a friend and see who knows the most! Light refreshments will be available. Adults only, please.

Thursday Night Book Discussion will meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM, with a community member leading a discussion on a book of their choice. Light refreshments are provided, and all are welcome. June’s discussion will be led by our young adult librarian, Kaitlyn Hanks, as she discusses young adult/teen books.

Are you a quilter? Do you love to sew? Do you want to learn how to sew and/or quilt? Be sure to join us at Quilting and Sewing Club where are all levels are welcome. Feel free to bring your own supplies, but also you can use some of our stash. Open to high schoolers and adults.

Come ready to build with all kinds of blocks and be creative in Lego Club! We provide the blocks, you bring the creativity. Open to all ages of kids & teens.
