What's the Period Party all about? This Period Party explores what menstruation is, how to prepare for it, and why it's not-so-scary. Plus, it is a great conversation-starter for parents!

Additionally, celebrate National Period Action Day with us at the Library! Period Action day is celebrated to help end the stigma around periods and help increase confidence for those that have one. Take part in decorating your own period kit bag and filling it with supplies, enjoy themed snacks and drinks, as well as educational demonstrations, books, and posters. We will be accepting period supplies donations during the day but that is not required to attend any of the events. This is an all ages event that is geared towards tweens and teens, but everyone is welcome. No library card required.
